Our 2026 festival was truly fantastic, and we are still energized and inspired by the incredible composers and musicians who joined us. Although 2027 may seem far away, we are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for MISE-EN Festival 2027, taking place June 15–19, 2027.

This year, we are opening two opportunities:

1. Call for Scores
Our traditional call for scores is open to composers writing for solo and ensemble works, with or without electronics and multimedia. In addition to concert works, we also welcome proposals for workshops, performances, and other creative projects related to contemporary music.

2. Student Composer Internship
The Student Composer Internship is designed for student composers who would like to write a new work for ensemble mise-en, experience the premiere of their work during the festival, and gain hands-on insight into how a professional music festival is organized and operated.

Composer interns will have opportunities to learn about various aspects of festival production while contributing to the festival community. Shared housing will be provided from June 14–20, 2027, and interns should be prepared to actively participate in and support festival activities.
