A solo cello recital exploring delicate whispers and dramatic cries, from gentle butterflies to emotional lamentations. Join Jihwon H. Na for an evocative journey through contemporary cello repertoire, featuring works by Kaija Saariaho, Henri Dutilleux, Jinhee Han, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, Giovanni Sollima, and Moon Young Ha. With special guest Rachel Zhao on violin for Jinhee Han’s Echo me (i).

Selected works will feature special lighting to enhance their ethereal atmosphere, complemented by gentle microphone amplification to subtly enrich the cello’s sound.
