June 16-20, 2026 in New York City

We are thrilled to announce the 12th MISE-EN FESTIVAL!

Thanks to your continued interest and support, the festival has grown and evolved each year. Since its inception in 2011, all concerts and events have remained free and open to the public—a tradition we are proud to continue.

This year, we are especially excited to fully activate our home, MISE-EN_PLACE Harlem, which will host the opening concert and most of the festival events. One exception will take place at Brooklyn College. In addition, composer talks featuring participating artists will be held at New York University’s Steinhardt Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions and Music Technology Program, and also Brooklyn College.

Below is a brief overview of the upcoming events. We invite you to explore each event page for full details on the talks, performances, and the inspiring artists involved.
