The $10 rate includes amenities such as access to the grand piano, music stands, chairs, projector and basic PA system.

NOTE:
We also have an extensive collection of percussion instruments—including marimba, vibraphone, crotales, orchestra chimes, concert bass drum, timpani, and more—as well as a professional audio system with QSC speakers, Fender guitar amp, Ampeg bass amp, Casio Digital Piano, etc. These are available for use; however, they must be booked at the regular rental rate for your start and end times (any time in between may be at the subsidized rate). This ensures we can properly staff the setup and storage.

  • 9:00–10:00 AM – Regular rental ($180)
  • 10:00 AM–5:00 PM – Subsidized rental ($70)
  • 5:00–6:00 PM – Regular rental ($180)

With NYSCA’s generous support, MISE-EN_PLACE is pleased to offer $10/hour subsidized rehearsal space to all eligible New York State artists and musicians.

This subsidized rental has no time limits, as long as it is used for creative rehearsal purposes. We welcome all disciplines—not just music. The space is available any day of the week, including weekends, as long as artists adhere to New York City’s noise regulations.
