This is the debut recital of Rush Hour, the cello-piano duo featuring Richard Jimenez and Ching Chia Lin. As a duo we’ve been playing together for over 2 years and this recital is the beginning of a new and exhilarating journey that I hope you can experience with us together. Featuring the impressionistic Three Pieces for Cello and Piano by Boulanger, the dreamy Pohadka by Janáček, and the voluptuous Prokofiev Cello Sonata, this program was designed around the theme of storytelling, exploring the different colors and sounds the cello and piano can create together.
