FESTIVAL 2025/

June 23-26, 2025

We are thrilled to announce the 11th MISE-EN FESTIVAL! Thanks to your continued interest and encouragement, the festival has grown and evolved each year. Since its inception in 2011, all of our concerts and events have remained free and open to the public—a tradition we proudly uphold. This year, we’re especially excited to inaugurate our new home, MISE-EN_PLACE Harlem, with the opening concert of the festival. Composer talks featuring participating musicians will also take place at the New York University Music Department. These events are made possible through the generous support of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the New York State Council on the Arts, and the NYU Music Department. Below is a brief overview of the upcoming events—we invite you to explore each event page for full details about the talks, performances, and inspiring artists you’ll encounter.
