The $10 rate includes amenities such as access to the grand piano, music stands, chairs, projector and basic PA system.

Note: We also have an extensive collection of percussion instruments—including marimba, vibraphone, crotales, orchestra chimes, concert bass drum, timpani, and more—as well as a professional audio system featuring QSC speakers, a Fender guitar amplifier, an Ampeg bass amplifier, a Casio digital piano, and other equipment.

These instruments and equipment are available for standard rehearsal use. However, if your rehearsal requires equipment beyond normal rehearsal needs, additional rental fees will apply. Such requests may be billed at our standard rental rates or quoted separately, depending on the scope of the equipment and services required.

With NYSCA’s generous support, MISE-EN_PLACE is pleased to offer $10/hour subsidized rehearsal space to all eligible New York State artists and musicians.

This subsidized rental is not subject to hourly limits (up to 100 hours per individual), provided the space is used for creative rehearsal purposes. We welcome artists from all disciplines—not just music. The rehearsal space is available seven days a week, including weekends, as long as all activities comply with New York City’s noise regulations.
